What Service We Offer

Waste Collection

Waste collection is a part of the process of waste management. It is the transfer of solid waste from the point of use and disposal to the point of treatment. Waste collection is an extended service offered by DRM by engaging local vehicles to pick up the waste lying at waste generation site. Sometimes waste generators look for complete solution and peace of mind solution, so DRM is capable to provide extended services as per the requirement.
DRM’s Waste Collection is one such important service with following salient features:
1. Vehicle on one call
2. ON TIME vehicle placement
3. Service for lower quantities
4. Engage local vehicles for social development
5. Continuous service
6. Service available 7 days a week

Waste Transportation

Waste transportation is a critical aspect of waste management systems. It involves the movement of waste materials from their point of origin to designated locations for treatment or disposal. Proper waste transportation is essential to ensure that waste is managed efficiently and effectively, reducing the risks of pollution and health hazards.

The transportation of waste poses several challenges, including the potential for spills, leaks, and accidents that can harm the environment and human health. DRM follow strict regulations to prevent these incidents and ensure that waste is safely transported to its destination.

DRM’s Services are best in providing Spill proof vehicles, Vehicle fitness checklist and maintain proper documentation for smooth in-transit operations.

Waste sampling and testing

Every vehicle incoming and outgoing is being analyzed at DRM’s R&D center and get the finger print analysis before unloading. Waste sampling and sample preparation are two most important figures effecting quality of any material.
Waste sampling involves the collection of representative samples of waste materials for analysis. The purpose of waste sampling is to obtain a representative sample that accurately reflects the characteristics and composition of the entire waste stream. At DRM, Sampling procedures are standardized and consistent by following SOP and ensure that the samples are representative and unbiased.
Waste testing involves analysing waste samples to determine their physical, chemical properties. The tests performed depend on the type of waste being tested, and the information required. At DRM we conduct finger print analysis of our product and issue Quality Certificate for every vehicle before dispatch. This is to ensure that our product meets the requirements of our customers.

Waste Pre-processing / Waste destruction

Waste generated at the source location is very heterogeneous in nature, due to which these are considered as waste and further going for un-authorized disposal / landfill/ open dumps. The energy content in the waste remains unused and wasted. As per the new CPCB guidelines 2016 “CPCB guidelines for Pre-processing/co-processing of Hazardous and Other wastes in Cement Plants” every manufacturing plant should follow the waste disposal hierarchy. This hierarchy indicates that any waste which has energy value, it should be co-processed in Cement kiln after doing a particular level of Pre-processing.
Waste pre-processing involves the separation and preparation of waste materials which suitable to for co-processing. This process can involve several different techniques, depending on the type and nature of the waste materials. DRM’s pre-processing techniques include sorting, shredding, grinding, drying and blending.
Sorting involves the separation of different types of waste materials, such as paper, plastics, metals, and glass, to facilitate recycling and reuse. Shredding and grinding are used to reduce the size of waste materials, making them easier to handle and transport. Drying involves reduction of Moisture content in the waste so that the energy value can be improved.
The final products are blended according to the quality requirements of Cement Plants / Hybrid Boilers to use as Alternate Fuels and to replace the traditional Fuels.

Waste management consultancy

Waste management consultancy is a service provided by our experts in the field of waste management to help organizations and businesses effectively manage their waste. Our Waste management consultants offer advice and guidance on waste reduction, waste segregation, recycling, and disposal methods that align with the principles of sustainability.
DRM’s services can help organizations in identifying opportunities for waste reduction, assessing the effectiveness of existing waste management practices, and developing strategies to minimize the environmental impact of waste. We work with businesses to develop and implement waste management plans that are tailored to meet their specific needs.
Our Waste management consultants can also provide training to employees on proper waste handling and disposal methods. This can help organizations to comply with waste management regulations and reduce the risks of fines and penalties associated with non-compliance.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a policy approach that holds manufacturers responsible for the environmental impact of their products throughout their lifecycle, including after the products are discarded by consumers.
The goal of EPR is to encourage manufacturers to reduce the environmental impact of their products by designing them to be more sustainable, as well as to take responsibility for the end-of-life management of the products they produce. Under EPR, manufacturers are required to finance or participate in the management of the disposal or recycling of their products. This approach shifts the financial responsibility of managing waste from taxpayers and local governments to the producers, who are in the best position to design products that are easier to recycle and dispose of.
Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has published Plastic Waste Management Rules published in 2016.

Turnkey Projects

DRM is expert in establishing different size of Projects in Waste Management segment at different locations of India. These projects can handle different waste and convert the same into useful Alternate Fuels.
DRM’s expertise is to instal Waste to Value conversion projects for Municipalities / ULBs/ NGOs/Cement Industries / MSW Biomining platforms/ waste generation site.

These projects can be handled based on BOOT or O&M models. Capacity of the project may be designed for 50 TPD, 100 TPD, 200 TPD & 300 TPD according to the requirement and economic feasibility.
